HISTORY OF STA. CRISTINA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Sta. Cristina Elementary School is a public institution which carries out a curriculum that anchors on the fundamental of basic education. It composes 112 personnel working under the supervision of the school head.

It was established in 1979 and formerly called Dasmariñas Bagong Bayan Elementary School-C. There were five teachers who handled 262 Grade I pupils. Mrs. Erlinda Gonzales was appointed Teacher-in-Charge for School Year 1979-1980. In 1980 – 1981, Mrs. Benigna Superales was appointed Teacher-in-Charge of the school. They opened Grade II classes but still no additional teachers were added so they handled two (2) classes one in the morning and another in the afternoon. In 1981-1982, Mrs. Eadborga A. Canarias became the Teacher-in-Charge for less than a year. Other school heads who were assigned in Sta. Cristina Elementary and made outstanding accomplishments for the improvement of the school are the following:

At present, there are 123 teaching and 7 non-teaching personnel. Among them are 1 MT-II, 12 MT-1, 35 Teacher III, 18 Teacher II and 57 Teacher I. The non-teaching personnel include 1 Principal, 3 LSB utility/watchmen, 1 security guard, and 2 utilities.
